A note from Chelsea:
Hi friends,
I have big news to share today.
Just like every other small business in America, we've experienced a tough year.In January, just as we were posed to launch a new collection, our fabric printer went out of business. This was a big blow. When I started this business in 2020, it took many months of sampling and testing before I found a fabric that reached my high standards. We built our business around this fabric and printing process, and the loss of this partner has been heartbreaking and difficult to navigate. As we began our search for a new printer, the tariffs hit, shipping prices sky-rocketed, and the world of manufacturing was turned on its head. It has taken us nine months and a huge budget to find a new fabric at an affordable price.
What this means for you: We've just done our last restock of our signature fabrics + prints. That means that everything currently in our collection is available for the last time right now. Once it sells, that's it! We have a new collection arriving this fall which will consist of entirely new prints, on an entirely new fabric (a medium weight 100% cotton canvas), and will only consist of tea towels, runners, & napkins (as of now!)
As a result of this uncertainly, we will be limiting the number of in-person events for the rest of this year. Clothesline Arts Festival is our last local show in Rochester and is happening this weekend September 6-7 at the Memorial Art Gallery. Our last 2 shows will be the Good Trade Maker's Markets in Providence & Burlington in November & December.
As always, I am so grateful for all our customers and friends who continue to show up and support us. It means so much, now more than ever.
